National Specialty Gases Information Center

    The early nineteen eighties, with Guangming Research & Design Institute of Chemical Industry scientific research project form the low temperature to special gas, in order to meet the national gas industry development needs, via ranking approval, created a national special gas information station. The station consists of the following departments: a National Special Gas Information Center (guild) Secretariat--"Special Gas Information", the editorial department--editor of the "Low Temperature and Specialty Gas", science and technology library.

     More than 20 years, along with the special gas industry development, the special gas center (guild ) continue to grow and develop, member unit from dozens to hundreds, held national specialty gases technology exchange conferences, gas technology exchange and industry information dissemination, editing and publishing papers. According to member unit needs, edited and published a large number of data.     Science and technology library is established on the basis of information group in 1962. After nearly 50 years of accumulation, development, now has a collection of nearly 80000 books. Among them, foreign books about 30000 volumes; all kinds of retrieval tools about 20000 volumes; approximately 30000 volumes of periodicals in foreign languages. The library area of more than 400 m², the reading room area is more than 100 m², can accommodate more than 30 people reading, there are more than 70 kinds of journals available for reading.
